1. USB3 for FT-02

   My review will cover all aspects of this experience:
   
   Find-ability: this is something I'm going to review because quite frankly I couldn't find this anywhere on the web. Aerocooler needs to step up their S.E.O. game quite a bit. No offense, glad you sold this product to me and it works great, but the trouble is I had to email Silverstone to find it anywhere on the net. I was googling it as Silverstone FT-02 front panel header, but apparently Silverstone ft-02 audio USB finds it on another site, and quite frankly having done a great deal of business with who popped up I'd of honestly gone with them if I wasn't directed here by the rep. That said, I went there first and didn't find it so... Go figure.
   
   Form: the product came in a simple usps shipping envelope. No wrapping otherwise, just a cable in a bubble wrap lined envelope. Still, it made it here in one piece, but one of the ports wasn't de-burred before being sent out. I cleaned up the little extra bits of plastic and was off to the races.
   
   Does it work? Yes, like a charm. Installation was easy with the exception of the stiff cable. It was a replacement part for my FT-02, props to Silverstone for not making this part incompatible with the first version of the case. Quite possibly the only real con is the USB 3 cable is so stiff it's barely a "cable". It was a complete pain to route it in the plastic upper shell where it's normally installed and even then was hard to maneuver to it's plug on the board. Considering how loosely it fits in that port, I'd say the cable stiffness is a con worth dropping a star for.
   
   All that said, it met my needs in restoring my FT-02, which now only has one blemish a minor scratch. Still good for many years to come, and I can't help but think this is a great part for somebody whom would be making a custom case.

   I had an older version of the Silverstone Fortress FT-02 with the USB2.0 front panel ports, and I wanted to upgrade to the USB 3.0 front panel. I ordered the part, received it promptly, and installed the next day. I have not experienced any issues, and it does exactly what it is meant to, that is to provide USB 3.0 in place the older USB 2.0 ports (along with front audio ports).
   
   My only knock, and the reason I deducted a star, is that the product does not come with installation instructions. Fortunately, they are on Silverstone's website, though if you are updating your only computer, this may be inconvenient. I would have probably left it at 5 stars had they included a note indicating that I had to go to their website for the instructions, but nothing was included to indicate how or where to find installation information. I suspect this is Silverstone's fault, rather than AeroCooler.com's, but regardless, I would recommend even inserting a slip of paper with the URL.

   Silverstone website Q&A section provides all what needs to be done to install this USB3.0 upgrade kit.
